Eyes of Sophia, a true love story that took place in our days
is not a fable or fiction. It’s the story of a love that appeared within
the rarest conditions which is difficult to believe. The writers, Alan
Chien and Donna May, knew each other in a strange context where you never
wait for love.
Alan, a former art teacher, thinks he has forgotten the spiritual matters
lost in the routine life, has lost his heart. Donna, a healer
who is searching the spiritual path, is unconsciously seeking for someone
to accompany her. They both knew to listen to their hearts, to face
the troubles of the way in their search for the meaning, as they could
clearly see the direction; “When we are living authentically, from the
feeling in our heart, we always have a clear direction and purpose.”
We have all experienced synchronicities, i.e. events that take place
at the same time for two or more persons, that we have always assumed as
simple coincidences, and never thought about them.
The book is full of pictures and photographs like the one
on the left that inspired the the title of the book. These images are explained
through the text, closely relating them to the incredible events
of the story.
Eyes of Sophia teaches us to pay attention to all the
events that occur within us as well as in the outer world, see the other
dimension of everything, and make use of our creative power.
Sophia is the Divine presence reigning our world and telling
us the Divine message through our heart.
After reading this book, we will learn that we too can achieve what
is in our heart, just if we know how to listen to it.
This is a good book for those interested in psychology and Jungian analysis,
but to get the most from it requires faith as well.
