The original version of the audiobook of Sedaris's Holidays on Ice had six stories.  This new version has twelve.   Although there's a festive scene on the cover, this collection has a couple of stories mentioning Thanksgiving and Easter too, but it is still mainly focused on Christmas.   If anyone hasn't already heard Sedaris read his "SantaLand Diaries" then it is high time they did so.  All but one of the stories new to the collection have already appeared in Sedaris's earlier books, but they are good: "Six to Eight Black Men," about the Dutch version of Santa, is a classic in the making.  The one new story, "The Cow and the Turkey," is not so interesting, but at least it is short.  Sedaris reads most of the stories himself, and he is the best person to do so, especially since we get to hear his version of Billie Holiday singing Christmas songs.
