Hypnography for Women has an
exactly parallel structure to Hypnography for Men, and many of the
comments I made about the latter apply to the former.  It is a self-help
audiobook with a relaxation exercise and guided fantasy that is meant to take
the listener into some sort of hypnotized state and through repeated listening,
to be more sexually activated and receptive to erotic enjoyment.  The
meditation then moves into a fantasy of being in a safe private place where the
listener can be naked and feel good about her appearance.  She steps into a
warm bathtub and her body feels wonderful.  Her body starts to increase in its
sensitivity and receptivity to pleasure.  She becomes full of sensual
excitement.  The bath has an exotic and magical bath oil that makes her skin
soft and even more sensitive to touch.  She relaxes further as her body starts
to tingle.  Then into her fantasy walks the most handsome man she has ever
seen, and he is wearing a revealing satin bathrobe.  He has a strong body and a
god-like face.  He starts to caress her with his strong fingers and tells her
to relax.  Her arousal increases further and she relaxes even more.  She
becomes highly aware of the excitement in every part of her body.  He kisses
her while never stopping telling her to relax.  She is intoxicated by his
masculine smell.  She wants him inside her and he slowly and steadily complies
with her wish.  They adopt the missionary style.  She is close to orgasm from
the very start of their coupling, and she is full of excitement.  She also
tells herself to relax and she gets ready for a powerful orgasm.  He pushes
himself inside her and she enjoys the feeling tremendously.  He maintains a
rhythm and she has an extended and steadily increasing climax.  He ejaculates a
healthy amount of his magical semen inside of her and this leads her orgasm to
release fully, as she relaxes her experience reaches a peak.  After, she enjoys
the feeling and is more confident and at ease with her own sexuality.  She is
free to enjoy sexual satisfaction.

Maybe listening to this fantasy
will help some women; I don’t know, and the makers of the tape don’t provide
any evidence that it is therapeutic.  I have to say, though, that I would be
surprised if it were helpful.  Far be it for me to cast aspersions on
fantasies, but it is hard for me to imagine anyone I know listening to this one
without bursting into uncontrollable giggles when it gets to the "magical
semen," and giggling is likely to bring the listener out of the hypnotic
trance, if she was ever in one.  On the other hand, it is probably true that
for any sexual fantasy, what appeals to some is going to seem ridiculous or
even offensive to others, so potential purchasers of this fantasy should at
least be aware of what it promises to make sure that it suits their tastes.
This fantasy seems very traditional in its assignment of gender roles, making
the woman the passive recipient of pleasure, lying in the missionary position,
while the man thrusts in and out.  At the same time, it strikes me as strangely
heartless, describing anonymous sex with a stranger.  It is often claimed that
male erotic fantasy is more about uncontextualized sex acts while women’s
erotic life is more about emotions, relationships and seduction.  If this
characterization is right (and I am not necessarily saying it is), then this
fantasy seems closer to a male than a female variety.

So I would not recommend this
audiobook to anyone I know, but that’s not to say that some people won’t find
it helpful.  Even if it causes you to giggle, that’s not such a terrible
result.
