Small Favors is a black and
white graphic novel of lesbian erotica.
Young Annie has a little guardian, Nibbil. Nibbil is meant to be Annie’s conscience, to stop her from
masturbating so much. (Don’t ask why
this is a problem.) The problem is that
Nibbil is just as bad as Annie. They
have an unusual relationship, since Nibbil is only about nine inches high. This does not stop them from having an
active and raunchy sex-life. It’s an
inventive and fun idea, that helps to raise this book above the level of most
comic book erotica. The artwork is not
sophisticated, but it has a vigorous simplicity to it. Small Favors may appeal to a rather
specific group of readers, but they will probably find it endearing.
