This is a very interesting book about learning to face your innermost self and to define what your "truth" is, as you know it. It is a tool for self-discovery in the form of questions and pictures, that you will find valuable or insulting and offensive. The latter would be a result of your particular brand of humor and/or possible unwillingness to confront yourself. The material is very thought provoking and even a bit intimidating with the levels of awareness it demands of the reader. I found the book to be full of dry humor with a stereotypically heterosexual orientation. I appreciated being informed from the beginning; this text works best in a group setting. It proved to change the flow of the material when having to think in terms of being in a group versus being alone. While I may not necessarily recommend this book to the public at large, that would be due to the potential of someone getting "stuck" in a particular chapter and not having enough ego strength or clarity to process the dynamics of the issues provoked. I would, however, certainly recommend this book in group therapy settings or groups with a trained facilitator.
